Cleveland Indians rookie outfielder Tyler Naquin hit his second walk-off hit in two days Friday night against the Toronto Blue Jays.

There is a magical feeling surrounding the Cleveland Indians and Progressive Field in 2016 and that feeling is continuing to grow after another unbelievable finish.

Tyler Naquin was the hero Thursday night when he hit a walk-off sacrifice fly to defeat the Chicago White Sox, but he had something a bit more special saved for tonight.

The Indians entered the bottom of the ninth inning down 2-1 after a great outing from Trevor Bauer. He gave up a two-run home run in the first inning, but finished with a new career-high 13 strikeouts to keep his team in the game.

His hard work was rewarded as Jose Ramirez hit a home run to tie the game at 2-2 with one out in the bottom of the ninth. That took Bauer off the hook for a loss, but the play of the game, and perhaps the entire season up to this point, was still to come.

Instead of me trying to explain it, watch and listen to Tom Hamilton as greatness unfolds before your eyes.

Wow. That’s really all one can say once the excitement wears off and words are able to be spoken. Just wow.

Naquin has not even started either of the past two games, yet he has been the hero of both. His heroics place the Indians seven games ahead of the Detroit Tigers in the AL Central, and eight games ahead in the loss column.

It has also spawned what will become a memorable picture for years to come.

The win gives the Indians 70 on the season, a mark they did not reach in 2015 until September 15.

There are only more wins to come, and hopefully more scenes like tonight’s walk-off win as the Indians continue the push for the team’s first division title since 2007.
