Alomar staying in Cleveland is a positive sign for Indians’ fans
After the Cleveland Indians‘ first bench coach interviewed with the Chicago White Sox for their opening at bench coach, Sandy Alomar decided to not only stay put but sign a two-year deal with an option for a third. How viable a managerial candidate he is can be debated, what can not is his appreciation of the Indians as well as the state of the franchise. Alomar sees the potential and doesn’t want to be on the other end of it when it happens.
Jason Kipnis made a change at the plate in 2015 that helped make him the only Indians All-Star this summer. While the season didn’t finish as well as it started, Kipnis’ adjustments didn’t just change the results but altered the type of hitter he was becoming. The best way to see how? Delve into the numbers.
Where oh where does T.J. House fit in? Once thought to be part of the young and talented staff, his results lead to his demotion, and injury was added to insult as he dealt with a shoulder injury and missed most of 2015. So are the Indians looking at a possible fifth starter once healthy? Or should House be added to the heap of pitchers that will come and go this coming season as minor league depth?

Bart Colon is pitching in the World Series. Are we sure the #Indians got the better deal in the Sizemore/Lee/Phillips trade? (Yes, a joke).
