Tribe sweep the Reds to win sixth straight

The Cleveland Indians were on the right side of the fielding mishaps for once, as the Cincinnati Reds committed three errors, all leading to runs for the Tribe.

Trevor Bauer

was good, but not great, but he didn’t walk a single batter. It was the first time he had done so when pitching six innings or more. The Indians return home to host the Texas Rangers, who will welcome back

Josh Hamilton

today to the lineup.

It’s not uncommon for pitchers to make in-game adjustments to their delivery, but to hear Bauer talk about it when he does it is just something special. The skinny on it is this, he knew something was off to start the game, and actually went and watched himself during the game. The solution involved hip-stacking, elbow spirals and linear distraction. This is why this guy builds drones for fun.

The Tribe will be the first team to see the return of Josh Hamilton to the Rangers. He’s expected to return and play left field in today’ game. His struggles have been well documented, and his exile from Anaheim has been as well. When Hamilton is healthy and in a good state of mind, baseball is better for it. We hope his return is a good one, just that it starts to be good after this series.
