Danny Salazar‘s chances of winning the fifth starting spot for the Cleveland Indians seem to becoming a bit murky, as he once again had a rough outing in a 13-2 loss to the Reds. He allowed seven runs over 3 1/3 innings, as his spring ERA jumped to 8.18. The Tribe managed eight hits, two by Michael Bourne, but couldn’t put a rally together at any point.
In an expected move, the Indians sent top prospect Francisco Lindor to the minor league’s on Thursday. He was a long-shot to make the team, and thankfully the Tribe avoided injury which would have been the top reason he’d make it. Jose Ramirez has continued his strong spring, making the decision easier on the Indians.
As well as Ramirez has played this spring, he did have some competition at shortstop. His BMW. Mike Aviles, and an unknown mastermind, pranked the young Ramirez by parking his car on the field. He has a reputation of parking where he wants, so the other Indians players obliged.

Bruce Chen staying with #Indians organization. He'll start the season at Triple-A Columbus. My guess? We'll see him in Cleveland this year.
