Jesus Aguilar in AAA HR Derby

First he makes his major league debut, then he is named to the AAA All-Star game, and now Jesus Aguilar has been chosen to participate in the AAA Home Run Derby.  He is one of only three sluggers from the International League to be selected to participate along with three members of the Pacific Coast League.  The event takes place on July 14th at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, home of the International League Durham Bulls.

Aguilar is hitting .278/.378/.478 with 12 HR, 15 2B and 46 RBI in 71 games for the Columbus Clippers.  He’ll look to put on a show for fans and maybe even win a guy a steak in the process:
