Clint Frazier Belts His Fourth Home Run Of The Season
Clint Frazier was selected by the Cleveland Indians as the fifth overall pick in the 2013 draft. He entered the season ranked as the 48th best prospect by Baseball America and MLB.com and as the #36 best prospect by Baseball Prospectus.

Keith Law had him ranked as #46 on his Top 100 saying “[He has] furious hand acceleration producing hard contact and surprising power for a player his size.”
According to Baseball Reference the 19 year old Frazier is 2.5 years younger than the league average position player.
This could be one factor why the young man has has met some resistance with the Indians Class-A affiliate Lake County Captains posting a triple slash line of just .248/.329/.369. He has shown signs of picking things up in the month of June hitting .269/.309/.500 with three of his four home runs.
Yesterday afternoon he put his power on display against the Dayton Dragons Layne Somsen belting a solo home run in the third inning in the Captains 3-2 loss.
