Here are some Tribe links to appease you throughout the All-Star break.

Homer-happy Jayson Nix is making me eat my words and has laid claim as the Indians’ starting second baseman. I don’t think he’ll last long term, but I’ve been known to be wrong before.

Waiting for Next Year gives an update on the Indians’ top 10 prospects going into the season. Most of them are progressing nicely, with the major exceptions being Michael Brantley and Hector Rondon.

WFNY again, with a plea to Joe Girardi to not pitch All-Star Fausto Carmona in the midsummer classic. I don’t think it’s as dangerous as WFNY says, but I’d rather him not pitch. Why risk anything?

Castroturf with some insightful comments following the LeBron debacle. Clevelanders are pretty lucky to have such great beat writers in Brian Windhorst (Cavs, Cleveland Plain Dealer) who’s simply the best, and Anthony Castrovince (mlb.com) covering the Indians.

Having writers like Windy and Castrovince make up for terrible ones, such as Paul Hoynes (The Plain Dealer). Paul Cousineau over at The DiaTribe ripped Hoynes for taking a cheap shot at the Indians.
